Improve your dexterity, control and drawing technique with short, simple daily exercises.
There is a series of drawing exercises I tell myself I’m going to practice every day.
They’re simple, fun, and incredibly helpful drills for gaining control and dexterity with your pencil — so you draw more precisely, yet more freely and easily.
They’re so useful - but only if they’re practiced consistently. They don’t even take long! Just 5-15 minutes a day on a regular basis will make a real difference.
Every time I go to record these exercises for my students and realize I’m rusty at them, I vow to take a few weeks and practice them every day.
But – if I’m honest – that hasn’t quite happened (at least not consistently).
Maybe that rings a bell for you, too.
Maybe you’d love to draw for 10 or 15 minutes a day – if only someone made it really simple for you to show up and do it.
So: let's do this together!
